# What Is the Bitcoin Wishing Well?

The Bitcoin Wishing Well lets you use Bitcoin Well Points for a chance to win sats or redeem selected merchandise. You can find it in your account under **Rewards > Bitcoin Well Points**.

## What can I do with Bitcoin Well Points?

### Play the Bitcoin Wishing Well

Each play uses the number of points shown beside the **Play** button. The current screen shows 500 points per play. Your result is a Lightning payout measured in sats.

The prize table and odds are displayed before you redeem your points. Review them every time you play because rewards, odds, and point costs can change.

### Redeem merchandise

The merchandise catalog may include items such as a "WELL" Stamp Seed Plate, Bitcoin Nutrition Hoodie, Leathermint Wallet, Bitaxe Solo Miner, Cybertruck (BTC Orange), or other special promotional items. Each item displays its current point cost.

Physical rewards use an email-based shipping process. After you redeem, Bitcoin Well emails you for shipping information. Reply to that email with the requested details, and the Customer Service team will arrange distribution and confirm when the item ships.

### Claim an unclaimed reward

If you select **Claim later** after a Wishing Well win, the sats appear under **Unclaimed rewards**. Each reward shows the time remaining before it expires, so claim it before the displayed deadline.

## Why are Wishing Well bitcoin prizes Lightning-only?

Lightning is designed for fast, low-cost bitcoin payments. Wishing Well payouts are delivered as Lightning sats and cannot be claimed directly to an on-chain-only Bitcoin address.

| **Tip:** Add and test a Lightning destination in your Bitcoin Well wallet manager before you play. A saved Lightning Address makes the **Send to wallet** option faster.

||| **Warning:** Never share a live Wishing Well claim QR code. Anyone who uses it first may be able to claim the reward.
