How to Play the Bitcoin Wishing Well

It costs 500 Bitcoin Well Points to toss a coin into the Bitcoin Wishing Well. When the coin lands, you will see how many sats you won and can send the prize to a Lightning wallet.

Lightning wallet required: Wishing Well prizes are paid only over the Lightning Network. Set up a Lightning wallet before you play. Learn how to set up and use Wallet of Satoshi.

Start a Wishing Well play

  1. Log in to your Bitcoin Well account.
  2. Open Rewards > Bitcoin Well Points.
  3. Select Play beside Bitcoin (Wishing) Well.

  1. Take a look at the prize table before you toss. Most coins land on a prize of up to 2,099 sats, while the luckiest toss can land the 1,000,000-sat jackpot.

Option 1: Scan or tap the QR code

Once the coin lands and your prize appears, use your Lightning wallet's scan feature to scan the claim QR code. On a phone, you can tap the QR code and choose a compatible Lightning wallet. You do not need to generate a new invoice.

Follow the prompts in your Lightning wallet and wait for the sats to arrive before closing the claim screen.

Option 2: Send to a saved Lightning wallet

  1. Select Send to wallet.
