ATM: Transaction Sent Successfully

When the ATM says your transaction was sent successfully, the bitcoin purchase has been broadcast to the receiving address you scanned.

What happens next

Open the self-custody wallet used at the ATM.
Confirm that you are viewing the same wallet whose receiving QR code you scanned.
Look for the incoming transaction. Your wallet may show it as pending until it receives blockchain confirmation.
Keep the transaction receipt and reference ID for your records.

"Sent successfully" describes the broadcast status. The receiving wallet may still wait for network confirmation before showing the bitcoin as fully confirmed.

If the transaction is not visible

Email hello@bitcoinwell.com and include:

The ATM location
The exact transaction amount
The transaction date and time
The reference ID
A screenshot of the receipt, if available

Keeping the receipt makes it easier for ATM support to locate the transaction.

Once a transaction is broadcast, Bitcoin Well cannot cancel or redirect it. Only scan a receiving address from a wallet you own and control.
